FAS and FAS Gov Asset Inventory Reader Software Select your inventory reader manufacturer below. Then download and save the appropriate software on to the same client machine where your FAS Asset Inventory program is installed. Upon completion of the download, run the downloaded file to install it on your computer. IMPORTANT: In order for the install to be completed properly, be sure the inventory reader and computer are connected with the appropriate cable.

1. For Windows XP or earlier: download ActiveSync 4.5
2. For Windows Vista: visit the Windows Mobile Device Center
3. Windows CE Readers: To get an inventory reader using the Windows CE operating system to communicate with your PC, simply:
       1. Download and install Microsoft ActiveSync
       2. Download and install FAS Asset Inventory Reader
   
4. Palm Readers: To get an inventory reader using the Palm OS^® software to communicate with your PC, simply:
       1. Download and install Palm Desktop
       2. Download and install FAS Asset Inventory Reader
